Have your next event at bay state brewery & taproom
Our upstairs dining room, inclusive of its own bar, is where we do parties, as we do not reserve tables in the downstairs taproom. The room seats 62 if every seat is full but if it is a networking event people rarely sit in a seat and tend to walk and mingle. The capacity of the room is 80-90. If the event is a private event, the room fee for a 3-hour block of time is $250.
We do not ask anyone to leave after the time is up( unless there is another party booked), we just open the dining room to other guests. Payment of the fee will lock in your event for that day so the sooner it is paid the sooner the space becomes yours. This fee is only for the room and the staffing for the event. It does not include food, beverages, tax, or gratuity. In addition, an 18% gratuity is suggested. Please feel free, if the service exceeds that amount, to add an additional amount to the bill.
Food can be ordered from our regular menu which can be found here on the Bay State website under taproom > menu or you can use our catering menu which can also be found on this website. If your party is larger than 20 guests, and you are going to have food, we will need the food to be pre-ordered at least a week in advance. Also, food from outside the brewery is not allowed with the only exception being cakes and/or cupcakes for a Birthday or Anniversary.
In addition, if you plan on having decorations for your event or party, then you also would be responsible for removing everything including tape and balloons from the room when you leave. You are also not allowed to climb on anything in order put your decorations up.
